Idea #6| Apple Vision Pro "Zero Privacy"

What If: Apple Vision Pro x Visual Lookup Feature

The satirical version of this idea shows the possibility of using the visual lookup feature the iphone currently has but with a Vision Pro device

It would allow the Vision Pro user to get instant information on the person they’re looking at!

What initially inspired this idea is the fact that soon it will be normal to wear a VR headset to do most online activities!

But how can this be realistically implemented?

If people started wearing their VR headsets outside ( once they figure out how to make them smaller in size ).

Those devices will be able to identlfy when two users make eye contact based on an eye tracking system.

That will be enough to trigger a pop up that will display available information on the person you’re making eye contact with.

Similar to the feature of nearby device pairing, but this one will have eye motion as the main triggering factor!

⚙️ The process would look like this:

1) You encounter someone wearing a similar device

2) When one device detects another based on location or eye motion, it will trigger a popup.

3) Info will be displayed based on their privacy choices.

If you look at the picture above

You can see a generic version of what we can do with this feature

While not every single piece of information might be available to display( based on user preferences), people can still see enough info about someone that would be enough to break the ice!

Another approach to this could be adding your professional information if you’re going to a professional event,

health info at a fitness event and the options are endless when it comes to how we will be able to use this feature!
