Idea #3| UberEats AI: Order for me

What If: Uber Eats AI

The satirical version of this idea Allows you to pick one of three options when you’re indecisive about your next order from Uber Eats.

It’s similar to the whole concept of browser cookies, which would recommend products and services based on your search history, but using “AI”!

But how can this be realistically implemented?

If you have had an Uber Eats account for a while, there must be a ton of data saved on your profile already.

What do you regeualry order? What’s your favorite restaurant? How many times you order per month? What’s the average cost of your order? Do you have any alergies?

This data can be analyzed and fed into an AI to help you make your decision, that could change the whole online ordering experience for most users.

The process would look like this:

1) UberEATS to auto detect you indecisiveness once you’ve spent enough time on the app without choosing a restaurant ( could be set to 10 mins for example)

2) The app would then have a pop up that asks you if you need help choosing something to order

3) Based on the history saved on the app, Uber Eats AI will suggest a few options

4) You can select one of these options or ask it to generate new ones ( same way ChatGPT works )

This could also give you the chance to discover new restaurants you might have not tried as we seem to repeat the orders we like because it’s easier for our brains to go with the familiar options!
